This time of year seems to be fitting that we discuss journaling gratitude. In addition to helping overcome depression and anxiety, as well as improving overall physical health, journaling has been shown to promote gratitude. Why, you ask, is giving thanks so important?

Various studies have shown that gratitude has specific health benefits. When we give thanks we are more likely to move more, sleep better, and have an improved quality of life as we age. This thought pattern will nurture positive feelings which indirectly affect both our happiness and our health.

Gratitude is directly connected to decreased levels of depression. I have come to learn this in my own life.

I would love to hear about your experience with visiting gratitude. Please feel free to email me them at any time!
